Enter the site code
Every Active Tunnelling site has its own induction. The site code is on the board at the site entrance, on the induction QR poster, or ask the Site Manager. (It is the site's code — not the personal induction code you are given at the end.)
Complete your site induction before you come to site
Everyone who works on or visits the Active Tunnelling site is inducted. Doing it here saves time at the gate: fill in the induction record, read the site rules, pass a short quiz, and you get an induction code to give the Site Manager on your first day.
Have ready:
- the date you will first come to site, and your email address (your code is sent there)
- your CSCS / CPCS / NPORS card and any other tickets you hold (confined space, slinger / signaller, plant …) — you photograph each card
- your face-fit certificate if you wear a tight-fitting mask
- an emergency contact's name and phone number
- a moment for a selfie, so the Site Manager knows who to expect
Takes about 15 minutes on a phone. Your answers are kept on this phone until you submit, so you can stop and carry on later. Active Tunnelling uses this information for site health and safety, emergency response and compliance only.
Been inducted at this site before? Update your details and go through the induction again
Enter the email address you used and the induction code you were given. Your details are filled in for you to update — you then read the slides, do the quiz and sign again.
Already inducted and here to sign in? Use the site sign-in iPad at the entrance. Ask the Site Manager.
